LED Towards Emitting Only Light No Heat

Abstract: 
        LED lighting market growth and technology development will help to accelerate bring high-efficiency, high-quality, low-cost and intelligent light to reality. The key technology development in solid state lighting recent focuses in high efficiency LED、standardization of the LED light engine and high performance fixture.
      Taiwan has high cost-performance LED technology and mass production capacity in LED chip and package. The >250lm/W LED was the efficiency target for R&D projects. Improving the light extraction efficiency、high quality epitaxial fabrication and low temperature operation in package for the LED emitted light without heat.  
      Taiwan currently is making initial progress along the path to develop key technologies to integrate photonic, mechanical, thermal and controlling aspects together making smaller, higher cost-performance, longer-life and smarter standard light engine. The >200lm/W LED fixture was the efficiency target for R&D projects. The application of the high efficiency and smarter light engine in the fixture and system was also under development. In this present, the high efficiency chip fabrication will be demonstrated with etching technology including photoelectrochemical etching method and pattern substrate method. The novel high efficiency integrated light engine technology and fixture with standard light engine will be shown.  
      In the future, the LED fixture will toward emitting the light without heat and the smart light system has the intelligent control function through the LED integrated light engine can be easily expanded to the field of smart lighting applications.
