Control of Spectral Power Distribution for High CRI and CQS

Abstract— In this study, an evaluation method for high color rendering index (CRI) and color quality scale (CQS) using multi-LED spectral power distribution is proposed. Red and amber-colored LEDs were used to enhance the properties of a 4000 K white LED up to CRI 90 and CQS 80. The results
of this research could be used in LED lighting design to achieve high lighting quality.
