具微處理器控制之新型低成本多模式交換式電容電路

摘要
本文架構是以交換式電容電路為基礎,提出一個新型低成本多模式交換式電容電路,僅用7 顆功率元件,即達成4種降壓模式(Vout/Vin=1 ; Vout/Vin=1/2 ; Vout/Vin=2/3 ;Vout/Vin=1/3),相較傳統交換式電容電路,在4 種降壓模式下,可節省1~2 顆功率元件,大幅縮減晶片面積約20~25%,降低晶片開發成本。本文使用微處理器與藍牙通訊為控制核心,內建控制演算法,可根據輸入電壓自動切換功率元件,並透過手機或平板等裝置,搭配藍牙通訊傳輸,可無線調控LED燈具,亦可回傳LED 燈具之狀態參數(切換模式與電壓參數)於手機app 介面上,達成智慧型LED 照明監控系統。驅動晶片使用世界先進0.4um 2P4M BCD 高壓製程技術實現,本晶片架構之輸入電壓為直流12~36V,其驅動電流為0~400mA,最佳效率>90%,可適用LED driver (MR16),並擁有類比/數位調光功能。

Abstract
In this paper, a new on-chip low-cost multi-modes switched capacitor is proposed, it only uses 7 power switches to achieve 4 step-down modes (Vout/Vin=1 ;Vout/Vin=1/2 ;Vout/Vin=2/3 ;
Vout/Vin=1/3). To compare with the conventional switched capacitor, the proposed switched capacitor can save 1~2 power switches in 4 step-down modes that could decrease the chip size
about 20~25%, the development cost may be reduced. The controller unit is a microcontroller (MCU) and a Bluetooth module, MCU is built in controlled algorithm, the control signals of power switches can be determined by the input voltage. Users can remote control LED lighting through the mobile phone or tablet PC, the system parameters (step-down modes and voltage parameters) can be displayed on the mobile devices with the Bluetooth communication interface, the intelligent LED lighting control system can be achieved. The proposed switched capacitor has been fabricated with vanguard 0.4um 2P4M BCD processes, the input voltage of the proposed circuit is 12~36V, the output voltage can be maintained at 12V by switching 4 step-down modes. The driving current is 0~400mA, the maximum efficiency is higher than 90%. The proposed switched capacitor has analog and digital dimming capabilities, so it can be suitable for LED driver (MR16).
